Privacy policy and protection of private data

 

This privacy statement describes the tasks and responsibilities of Vik Executive Search SRL, having its registered office at 112 rue Sans Souci,  1050 Ixelles, company number 0693 674 615 (hereinafter “Vik Executive Search”). The privacy statement relates to the personal data which is collected by Vik Executive Search and which is processed by Vik Executive Search, as processor or controller, at the request of companies who want to select candidates for their company.

1.     The personal data collected

When a candidate is shortlisted by Vik Executive Search, their personal data will be retained for a maximum of 10 years, as well as the information collected during the selection process. This personal data optionally includes your surname, first name, e-mail address, date of birth, gender, language, nationality, level of education, type of education, your current position, the person or company for whom the selection has location and other information from your resume.

2.     Purposes of the processing of personal data collected

Vik Executive Search collects and processes, as a processor or controller, the personal data below for the following purposes:

Inform the Client of the professional experiences of the candidate following the information collected in their CV. Depending on how the selection of candidates is carried out, other personal data may be entered by Vik Executive Search.

3.     Security of personal data

Vik Executive Search has appropriate technical and organizational security measures in place to protect the security and confidentiality of your personal data.

Vik Executive Search will take internal organizational measures to prevent personal data from being accessed and processed by unauthorized persons. In addition Vik Executive Search maintains physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to ensure the security of personal data. If deemed necessary, Vik Executive Search will take security measures that are compatible with industry standards. If a data leak should nevertheless occur, Vik Executive Search will take the necessary steps to limit the consequences of the leak and to inform the authorities involved.

4.     Changes to this privacy statement and new purposes

This regulation may be modified according to changes in the processing of personal data by Vik Executive Search. Vik Executive Search will announce each relevant change to the Rules through a communication in the web application and indicate the date of the last change in the Rules at the top. By using the web application you are bound by the rules as soon as these changes are announced in the manner described in this section.

Vik Executive Search may use your personal data for purposes that have not been described in this policy, but Vik Executive Search will notify you of such new purposes in accordance with this section. If required by law, your permission will be sought to achieve these new purposes.

5.     Your rights

You have the right to access the personal data collected and processed by Vik Executive Search and you have the right to have incorrect data corrected. You can also object free of charge to the processing of your personal data for commercial purposes. You can exercise your rights by following by asking Vik Executive Search to modify your confidential data or simply delete it from the candidate database.
